Less than impressed, food was okay, but nothing spectacular. We went on a Sunday and was wanting lunch, lunch is not served until noon. We were willing to wait the 15-20 minutes, but even with our order placed and ready, still took forever. Tried the Limit Loin as well and it was rather small, I thought, and was over-done/dry and not much flavor as I was expecting. Not in any hurry to go back there.

Had, both, steak and chicken ceaser salad. So delicous. Steak was cooked perfect. No complaints. Very nice people. I would come back to try more.

Stopped in for breakfast just after the normal breakfast rush..the waitress came over in a very timely manner, brought our drinks and was perfectly willing to give my friend and I as much time as we needed to decide on what we wanted..she came back over in a few minutes as we were ready to order. The food came hot and as served, there was a nice plate presentation. The food tasted as good as it looked and the waitress couldn't have been more attentive. The tables were clean when we arrived and the restaurant itself had a very nice feel to it. We'll definitely plan on returning in the future. And suggest you might try this restaurant when you are in the area. It's worth the trip!.

First time I went here it was awesome! Great bloody Mary's! 99 cent mimosa Sunday's! Food is awesome and super cheap... Unfortunately my second visit was a flop! We wait for twenty minutes and no one greeted our table.. We asked the bus girl for help and she said she get us a server... Another ten minutes rolled by so we flagged down another server... She said she gets us mimosa and find us our server... There was no sense of urgency from anyone... Another ten minutes goes by and still nothing... No one! There were five tables total that sat down after us and they were all waited on, had drinks, and some even food... We can in at 11:30am to eat breakfast and we left at 12:30p with nothing but a sour taste in our mouth from the waitresses and nom available staff... I have never felt so unwelcome anywhere before in my life... They will never get my business again... And they lost four new customers that I brought after raving about the place... This type of service is unacceptable... One waitress said to use upon leaving "no luck" sorry... Ya I'm so sure... Your so sorry...(an hour later)..

We stopped for dinner. It took awhile to place our drink order, it took even longer to recieve our drinks. Finally had a chance to order dinner.... After what seemed like an eternity our food arrived. I had the limit loin and it was way over cooked along with no flavor. My wife's catfish was really good. All in all the service just plain sucked and took way too long. Stay away from the tenderloin and I think the food will be ok. They remind me of a bar with bar cooks trying to be a real nice restaurant , it just doesn't work..... Stay with bar food

Limit loin, bacon cheese burger and bloody mary were all outstanding. Service was great as well.

Since being taken over by new ownership, there has been a slight rise in service but substantial drop in the quality of food. The Limit Loin used to be my favorite item on the menu; yesterday's sandwich was a shadow of its former glory. The tenderloin itself was half the size, and where before you ordered it with "everything," now I have to request everything including the hot mustard (which was virtually unnoticeable). I had to text a former employee to find out what the standard "everything"was. Own your specials!!!! 99 cent mimosas (which I had to remind the server they had) are much lighter on the champaign and heavier on the OJ. There's some obvious cutting of corners, and I'm curious to see if this neighborhood institution will last.

We had to ask for a waitress for over 30 minutes just to get our order. We saw her one more time to give us the food and check. Food was so bland and tasteless that I didn't finish it. Won't be back.

Really great biscuits and gravy. The rest of their breakfast items are just okay. My toast always comes out cold, and eggs with "lace" on them. The worst part of this place and the reason I'll never come back is because of the TERRIBLE service. More than once, I've come in with a friend and been seated, not brought waters for 10 minutes, then not asked to order for another 10, then when we do order waitresses are unfriendly. We waited FORTY FIVE MINUTES for our food. Once we did receive our food, orders were wrong. waitress did not apologize for the wait and didn't apologize for the incorrect order. We then had to wait 20 minutes to get our waitress to give us our bill. Our waters were never refilled our entire meal, we went up to the bar ourselves. It was awful. We had this experience multiple times.

Been a customer hundreds of times over past 50+ years. Love their breakfasts. Changed ownership recently and have noticed food is not as good. Tonight (7-20-2015) had a breaded tenderloin and it was tasteless and inedible. Wife had breaded shrimp which she has had many times but it is now mostly breading and very small shrimp. VERY disappointing!

Been here twice with good experiences both times. The first time I had breakfast which was good. And then the 2nd time just beer and fries. Fries were perfectly cooked and a big portion for only $2.25. They have a cool little shaded outdoor seating area overlooking the Rock River, and to top it off they have great local beer on tap from Bent River.

Get a Limit Loin. Seriously the best tenderloin in town. Unbreaded Pork Tenderloin with Swiss and Bacon. It doesn't get any better than that. Make sure you get yourself a bowl of popcorn too. Self serve

Great eating and loving the extension. From pancakes to catfish they know how to do it well. Very clean and great service.

I stopped in at this place to grab a bite to eat before getting on a plane. It was like the only place we could find in the area. The food was ok and the service was good. We wanted to just sit there for a while before I had to get to the airport, but the waitress kept coming by almost like she was ready for us to leave. Which was kind of weird because there wasn't anyone there really! If I'm ever in the area waiting for a plane I might try it again, but hopefully the food and service will be slightly improved.
